The Summer Youth Employment Program is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. This program will take place from May 1, 2009 through September 30, 2009. The main purpose is to provide work experience opportunities for youth between the ages of 14-24. Youth must also be low income (as defined by WIA Youth) and have one barrier to employment (also defined by WIA Youth). This determination will be made by Summer Youth Employment Program staff.
